My 2020 Success Plan

“A goal should scare you a little and excite you a lot”

Joe Vitale

2020 – The Year of Dreams! But yet something about that just doesn’t feel right. The difference between dreams and a goal is the intent and action behind it. The success you bring into 2020 relies solely on that difference.

For years I dreamt of New Years in New York City, to wonder the streets of New York with champagne and snow while dancing into the New Year. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the place tickets never just fell into my lap. It wasn’t until the start of last year that I decided I was done with dreaming I wanted to live my goals. I made a budget, I researched, I planned my fabulous outfit (obviously) and ticked off every step it took to make my dream a goal. As I post this blog I have been back from New York for almost a week and I can without a doubt say the reality of my goal was far more fabulous that my dream. Your dreams will never work unless you do.

Make 2020 a year of creation rather than a year of dreams. Goal setting is the process of creating a step-by-step to-do list that guides you every step of the way to creating your success. To turn your dream into a goal, you need to break it right down into a management and step-by-step to-do list.

“Do something today that your future self will be grateful for” what a profound concept. Every single day you have the opportunity to take yourself once step closer to your goal lifestyle.

Take a moment and let yourself dream – dream big and dream wild. You deserve to live the life your heart has always dreamt of. But you can’t stop there, turn that dream into a management to-do list and make it happen. Make 2020 the year that you become the difference between having a dream and living your goal.

Enjoy the satisfaction off ticking every task, as your to-do list becomes a ta-da list!
